A day of workshops and business meetings led by leading international filmmakers and cross-media practitioners. This was a sell out event.

    Workshop topics included:

    • How to develop a story across multiple platforms
    • Marketing and distribution models – new vs. traditional
    • Audience building and engagement – how to use social media tools
    • New cross-media distribution models and outlets
    • Legal and digital rights issues across development, production and distribution
    • New skills needed for writers, producers and directors in a multi-platform world
    • How to adapt traditional storytelling techniques to new media
    • Project financing and packaging in a cross-media world
