PHILIPPE REYNAERT

Reynaert, Philippe_2013After studying Literature, Philippe created and was chief editor of the cinema magazine Visions from 1982 to 1988. He started out in television in 1983 presenting the Midnight Film Club at RTBF. He’s been collaborating with public service broadcasters ever since.

An adman in the ’90s, the Man with the White Glasses has dedicated himself full-time to his passion for “the seventh art” since February 2001.

He assumed the directorship of Wallimage, the regional fund for investment in the audiovisual industry created by the Walloon Region’s Minister of Economy. A member of the Director’s Board of the French-speaking public TV channel RTBF, he is also one of the founders and the current chairman of Cine-Regio, the European network of regional film funds.
