Mel Exon is co-founder and Managing Partner of BBH Labs, Bartle Bogle Hegarty’s global innovation unit. BBH is an independently owned, global creative ad agency with six regional hubs worldwide. BBH Labs is the agency’s outwardly-focused technology-driven innovation arm focused on ensuring the company is as smart as possible when it comes to change and the embracing of emerging platforms, processes and partners.

Mel is a shareholder of BBH and has been a board director of the company since 2001. In addition to her BBH Labs role, she is also part of the BBH London commercial management team and leads a number of client businesses as part of the agency’s international cluster, Six.

She joined BBH in 1997 and since then has been involved in award-winning work for clients as diverse as Levi’s, British Airways, Boddingtons and Heineken. On past commercial film projects for BBH she has worked with Jonathan Glazer, Frank Budgen and Michel Gondry for Levi’s and Danny Kleinmann for Boddingtons.
