IAN ROBERT-JONES

Ian Robert JonesIan Robert-Jones is a Brussels-based writer currently working on a new novel and screenplay called Luxuria Has Departed. Robert-Jones worked as a journalist, web-writer and Internet video producer for 17 years in Montreal at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) before returning to Europe two years ago. Robert-Jones has created and hosted three different (CBC) radio shows, hosted and produced a 36-part video series for the Internet called the MLMB Rock n’Road show. Robert-Jones has also written the screenplay This Is Water, a pilot for a TV series called There Goes The Neighbourhood and a web-column called @World.ca. He has a Master’s Degree in Media Studies (film) from Concordia University but is glued to a computer screen these days believing that the future of celluloid is online. Robert-Jones likes football, Christopher Hitchens, The Intercept, travelling to the locations in his screenplays and would get into BASE-jumping if he could have it all over again.  Robert-Jones comes from Herefordshire in the shadow of the Black Mountains.
