FRANK HYDE-ANTWI

Born in 1966, Frank Hyde-Antwi is the owner of twiddlethumbs, a concept and design agency based in Zurich, Switzerland that specialises in development and design for print media, corporate identity and cross-media solutions with an emphasis on corporate/artist collaborations and multi-directional consulting for cultural institutions.

Frank holds a Bachelors degree in History and Visual Anthropology from the University of Zurich and an Executive MBA degree from Edinburgh Business School (Heriot-Watt University). He is currently finishing a Masters degree in Transdisciplinarity at the Zurich University of the Arts.

He has worked as a consultant at migros museum for contemporary art zurich, where he was responsible for corporate identity and brand management and served as CD for the web presence as well as art book editions.

After a stint as a researcher and scriptwriter for documentary features, he went on to work as a project developer for expo.02, the Swiss National Fair.

From 2000 to 2003, he developed and was responsible for review, an integrated film and video competition geared towards time-based art, in collaboration with migros museum for contemporary art zurich. During its three year run it funded, co-produced and showcased works from artists such as Emmanuelle Antille, Peter Volkart, Alexandre Bianchini and Selina Trepp.

In addition to working as a graphic designer, project developer and creative producer, Frank acts as a coach to visual artists, both in Zurich and abroad.
