Wayne Fletcher has been an executive partner at McCann since 2010. After graduating with a PhD in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Leeds, Wayne joined WPP’s Millward Brown to assess the power of broadcast sponsorship and other nascent media as branding vehicles. In 1997 he joined Aegis Media as the company’s first consumer strategist, applying social science principles to the art of media, advertising and communications. Since then, Wayne has held various executive strategy and creative roles within both Aegis Media and IPG, influencing and shaping the marketing campaigns of global brands such as Coca-Cola, Disney, Adidas and Hennessy. In 2007, he was appointed Visiting Professor of the University of Arts, London.
