He is currently Managing Partner & UK Head of Mediacom Beyond Advertising, the branded entertainment and digital arm of WPP’s largest media agency. Nick’s team currently includes around 50 staff and provides clients such as Universal, Dell, EA Games, E.ON and Volkswagen with strategic advice and implementation in areas such as advertiser-funded TV programming, online content, events, social media, digital creative and sponsorship.
Before joining Mediacom this summer, Nick spent nine years with the BBC, most recently as commissioner for factual & arts multiplatform projects, and before that in senior digital roles in the Future Media and News divisions. Prior to that he was Director, Broadband & Interactive TV Development, EMEA for Turner Broadcasting. He started his career in the late 90s as an online journalist and web designer.
