Michel Reilhac is currently Executive Director, Head of Acquisitions and Production for feature films at ARTE France. He has been exploring, researching and developing transmedia storytelling as a new option for the future of the moving image as an artform, by breaking the outdated mould of struggling independent cinema worldwide.

He formerly produced and directed several features, documentaries and short films through his own company Mélange. He also curated and designed several ground-breaking art events such as the Modern Ball (where the audience is the performer) and In the Dark (using blind people as guides for the first time in pitch dark exhibitions and restaurants).
