Power to the Pixel is a company helping international filmmakers and the film industry make the transition to a cross-media digital age. Its services include consultancy, training and events
as well as information and analysis of the changing international market.
It is run and supported by some of the most experienced cross-media pioneers, professionals and filmmakers in the world.
Karin Johansson-Mex is the head of Medea, a design-led research centre for digital media at Malmö University in Sweden. The work of Medea is built on cooperations where researchers work together with companies outside the university. One such Medea project is the trans/cross-media production Granny’s Dancing on the Table that won the prestigious ARTE Pixel Pitch Award at Power to the Pixel’s Cross-Media Forum in London 2010.
