BARBARA ANTIČEVIC

Barbara Anticevic

Barbara Antičević is a freelance screenplay writer and copywriter. She was raised in Belgrade, Serbia, and Zagreb, Croatia. After she graduated from the International Business School in Vienna, she spent the next ten years working in film production whilst traveling the world.

Barbara has recently graduated from Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Germany after completing a screenwriting course.

Barbara has participated in two week-length Content-Labs at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, led by Inga von Staden, Raimo Lang (YLE Commissioning Editor), Tom Olsson Liljeholm and Jörg Ihle.

Her current projects in development are a feature-length screenplay Königin Dorle (Queen Dory) with INDI Film Stuttgart & Berlin.  A romantic film drama Southern Wind (WT) for the Festival de Cannes 2014, BFI London Film Festival 2013, BABYLON European Feature Film Development Programme.  Baden-Württemberg Film Fond (MFG), Vienna Film Fund (FFW), Croatian Audiovisual Centre (HAVC), Creative Skill Set, UK Film Council and Ciné Sud funded this).

She is also working on a Retro-Sci-Fi Cross-Media Project Redland (8 x 10 Min web series, 13 x 45 Min TV-Series, App and Website), which she has created together with Producer Márk Szilágyi.  The project is supported by Federal Funding from Ministry of Science, Research and Arts (Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst Baden-Württemberg) and by the Caligari AWARD 2013. Another series, Alpha Marille/Alpha Apricot, a Sci-Fi-Trash-Comedy Series, is currently embedded into DIVERSE GESCHICHTEN Austrian Screenplay Development Programme (funded by Austrian Film Institute (ÖFI), Vienna Film Fund (FFW) and BMUKK (Federal Austrian Ministry of Culture).
