The second ground-breaking Power to the Pixel took place at the heart of the Times BFI 52nd London Film Festival.

Power to the Pixel brought together the leading innovators, filmmakers and entrepreneurs who are changing the way film and media is financed, created and reaches audiences.

London 2008 kicked off with a cutting-edge conference which was webcast live to an additional 10,000 ‘virtual’ audience members worldwide.

The workshop labs and meetings with the experts SOLD OUT weeks in advance.

Four leading international filmmakers presented their cross-media film projects to representatives from companies including Babelgum, Sony Computer Entertainment, BBC, Arts Council England, UK Film Council, MySpace, Amazon at the Project Forum launch, a pre-cursor to 2009’s new marketplace, The Pixel Pitch.

In all, 32 leading international experts shared their knowledge and expertise with Power to the Pixel’s delegates over a jam-packed two days. You can watch the videos online.
