32 participants, 16 with a project and 16 without, have attended The Pixel Lab 2014.
1. Residential Workshop: 6-12 July 2014, Hotel Traube Tonbach, Germany
The Pixel Lab began with a 6-day residential week in Baden-
The residential week closed with pitch presentations and networking drinks with invited financiers, commissioners and producers from the region.
2. Distance Mentoring: July – September 2014 [For project participants only]
Participants with a project are currently undergoing three months of distance mentoring around creative and business strategies with leading cross-media practitioners.
3. London Workshop: 6-9 October 2014 [For project participants only]
Run in tandem with the annual Cross-Media Forum (check out 2013’s edition here), the final stage of The Pixel Lab culminates in a final pitching session. Following a day of pitch training, participants will present their developed project to a live audience of industry professionals and a jury who will ultimately decide the winner of The Pixel Lab 2014 prize of €3,000. The workshop closes with a series of one-to-one business meetings with media’s top commissioners, financiers , producers and distributors and an invitation to Power to the Pixel’s awards ceremony in the evening.
