Power to the Pixel are heading to the Berlinale Film Festival from 12 – 17 February!

You can catch Liz Rosenthal, Power to the Pixel’s CEO & Founder moderating two sessions as part of the Berlinale Talents programme on Sunday 14 February.

14:30 to 15:45 | CONNECTED STORIES 1 – PROTOTYPING, PARTICIPATION AND PERSONALISATION
As digital and connected media drives an abundance of content and ever-evolving formats, platforms and devices, understanding and engaging your audience at an early development stage offers huge advantages to the impact of your project. This session explores how forward-thinking creators, producers and commissioners are developing a prototyping and iterative design culture to test out story ideas with collaborative teams and users, and how audience feedback is used to help with further development and prove traction and value.

Leading cross-media and VR experts share their vision of the future of immersive storytelling both for fiction and documentary projects. By showing examples created for Virtual Reality, the panelists discuss the opportunities and challenges for this powerful new narrative format and what filmmakers can learn from it in general about their relations to characters, protagonists and viewers.
