The Pixel Market Meetings

At The Pixel Market Meetings 35 project teams engaged in a series of 1-2-1 business meetings with over 150 international financiers, commissioners and platforms from film, TV, online, mobile, games, interactive, publishing, live events, the arts and advertising. The Pixel Market Meetings day culminated in an awards reception where the following prizes were awarded:

  • ARTE International Pixel Market prize  – €4,000 development funding

  • POV Pixel Market Prize for the best interactive non-fiction project – $1,500
    The Plunder by Rosie Garthwaite, Mediadante & Anagram
  • IFP Pixel Market Prize – 6 month fellowship at the New York Media Center
    CodeGirl by John Benton, Love8 Media
  • Cinekid Pixel Market Prize (for projects aimed at 4-14 year olds)
