The Pixel Lab: The Cross-Media Workshop

€2,500: Producer participants attending with a project
€ 1,750:  Professionals attending without a project

  • SCHOLARSHIPS AND DETAILS OF HOW TO APPLY ARE ON THE APPLICATION FORM
  • FRENCH APPLICANTS will automatically be considered for ARTE’s bursary of €1,250 towards fees

Course fee includes:

  • Six nights’ accommodation at the 4* Resort Schwielowsee on the banks of the Lake Schwielowsee just outside Potsdam, Germany
  • Full continental breakfast, buffet lunch and three course dinner (including one soft drink) daily at one of the resort’s many restaurants
  • Mid-morning  tea, coffee and snack each day
  • Mid-afternoon tea, coffee and home-made cakes & pastries each day
  • Free wifi in all learning / public areas of the resort
  • Free use of the resort’s indoor and outdoor swimming pools and sauna. Treatments and classes are also available at the Tao Life Wellness Centre
  • Training and course materials for the residential week 1-6 July 2012

For producers attending with a project, course fee also includes:

  • Distance mentoring between July and September 2012 with Power to the Pixel
  • Three nights B&B accommodation at a Central London hotel in mid-October 2012 during The Cross-Media Forum (dates tbc)
  • Welcome dinner in London
  • Pitch presentation training with an industry expert
  • Free accreditation to Power to the Pixel’s annual Cross-Media Forum (Conference, The Pixel Pitch) 15 – 18 October 2012 (tbc)
  • Project presentations to a selection of invited industry guests and The Pixel Lab jury
  • An afternoon of business meetings with international experts
  • Consideration for The Pixel Lab prize (tbc – Power to the Pixel awarded a cash prize of £3,000 in 2011)
  • Invitation to The Pixel Pitch and The Pixel Lab awards reception

Course fee excludes:

  • Travel
  • Meals and beverages other than as outlined above
  • Supplementary costs

BURSARIES
Power to the Pixel will offer a small number of bursaries to help with course fees and/or accommodation costs at its discretion (please download application form for details).

At least two bursaries will be offered to applicants from the 12 new EU member states (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia) and/or Croatia.
