The Pixel Pitch, taking place on 13 October as part of Power to the Pixel’s Cross-Media Forum, brings together top international executives to discuss how to finance, package and launch cross-media projects.  As the shape of projects has changed, so have the people who finance them. The Pixel Market: 18 international cross-media projects selected

Power to the Pixel will hold a first-of-its-kind marketplace dedicated to financing cross-media projects as part of its four-day Cross-Media Forum in October. 18 projects have been selected from nearly 100 submissions from 23 countries. Nine of the project teams will present In Competition on the second public day of the forum at The Pixel Pitch on 13 October. One lucky winner will walk away with the £6,000 ARTE Pixel Pitch cash prize.

Keynote Speakers Announced for Cross-Media Forum

This year’s Power to the Pixel Forum, held 12 – 15 October 2010 in association with the BFI London Film Festival, boasts world experts who are working at the vanguard of the cross-media space.

Michel Reilhac, Executive Director of ARTE France Cinéma, will be joined at the Conference by producer and director, Tommy Pallotta, frequent collaborator of Richard Linklater who will be talking about his new cross-media project Collapsus. We are also delighted to welcome Mike Monello, co-creator of The Blair Witch Project and co-founder of New York-based creative agency, Campfire.

Presenting the keynote address at The Pixel Pitch (13 Oct) is Thomas Hoegh, CEO of Arts Alliance. The pitching forum is the competitive section of Power to the Pixel’s new cross-media project marketplace where nine producer-led teams will compete for ARTE’s £6,000 top prize.
