Securing funding and distribution for your project in the digital world

The industry is changing and the future of distribution will allow producers to retain more of their rights and find finishing funds for their programs without having to give all rights away. The session will look at new ways producers can monetize their content, as well as find different avenues at getting their projects financed. The session will also discuss new platforms and existing platforms that allow producers to self distribute and secure pre-sales and the use of the consumer to gather valuable research to help get their project completed and distributed.

Rose Adkins has worked in senior executive positions at The Hollywood Reporter, Sundance Institute and Universal Pictures. After Universal Pictures, she oversaw all foreign distribution for Ralph Farquhar, producer of TV shows such as Married with Children and the Real Husbands of Hollywood. Since 2008, she launched her own production company called TAG, The Adkins Group and most recently, ScreenHits. She studied at the University of Southern California and California State University, Northridge, where she received a B.S. degree in Business Administration. Rose is responsible for the vision, direction, business development and daily management of ScreenHits.
