Watch the winning pitch for Love & Engineering here

04.11 2011

A story about young men looking to find their way to love using a scientific formula, Tonislav Hristov’s cross-media project Love & Engineering proved to be a real crowd – and jury – pleaser, winning the prestigious £6,000 ARTE Pixel Pitch Prize at last month’s Cross-Media Forum hosted by Power to the Pixel.

As its title suggests, Love & Engineering is aimed at ‘geeks’ and engineers, but in reality has a much broader appeal, and, despite having the audience laughing out loud, a serious subject at its heart, exploring how technology is affecting the social fibre of modern society.

The project is being produced by Kaarle Aho of Finland’s Making Movies Oy and includes an interactive website, film, mobile app and live events. Our congratulations go to Kaarle and Tonislav! Watch their winning presentation here…
