The Mini Pixel Lab opens to Welsh producers

Applications have today opened for The Mini Pixel Lab, a bespoke course for Welsh producers developing a cross-media property. Running in tandem with Power to the Pixel’s new residential workshop The Pixel Lab: The Cross-Media Film Workshop, the programme will run over one day and two half-days beginning on 3 July 2010.

Teaching will be led by world-class cross-media experts. The deadline for applications is 18:00 on 21 May 2010 with further details available here.

The Pixel Lab: Programme now online

The programme is now online for Power to the Pixel’s first residential cross-media workshop running from 4 – 10 July in Wales. Boasting teaching from international cross-media experts with credits including Son of Rambow; Slumdog Millionaire; Why So Serious? for The Dark Knight and Beyond the Rave, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to learn from the best.

Power to the Pixel at MIPTV in Cannes: 11 – 14 April

PttP’s Founder, Liz Rosenthal, will be at MIPTV from 11 – 14 April at the MEDIA stand, H4.35.

Liz will also be discussing the relevance of cross-media in a session called Content 360, transmedia, cross-media. What does it mean? How does it relate to me? Join Liz and the other panel members from 09.30 – 11.00 on Tuesday, 13 April at the MEDIA stand, H4.35.

The Pixel Lab: European training for cross-media business

Power to the Pixel’s new cross-media workshop, The Pixel Lab, has been building buzz since launching its call for applications at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Beginning on 4 July 2010, the Lab comprises a six-day residential course in Wales for 40 European media professionals. Up to 20 of those will be producers who will attend with a cross-media project  which they will later present to potential international funders and partners at Power to the Pixel’s Cross-Media Forum in London this October.
